Sugar

Sugar is bad, Others are glad
Make the society sad,
We need good food
To help us poop
All the bad ways

Glucose, Sucrose, Lactose
Help the body provide
For energy!
And Health!
And good things inside
Except for that one guy

FRUCTOSE!!
My names fructose
I’m the sweetest guy
Find me in plant's
And in your fruit pies
But don’t you worry!
I’m all so fine.
With my refined sugars
And my hidden lies
And believe me - I’m not trying to hide
What’s there to give
I gonna provide

Lovey - But no this man is really bad
Ricky - No I’m not.
Lovey - he’s not healthy
Ricky - but the truth sucks

My names glucose
I’m good for you
I give you energy
And health.
For your exercise
I can help  you
To keep alive
Weird enough
I’m in

Allo Allo Imma sucrose with the whatso’s
YEAH!
And i’m 50 50 of the glucose and fructose
Huh?
Wouldn’t you want to know about me
Enough to biologically x-ray see
Ya see those
That’s a portal vein
Get sent to the liver
But don’t settle round here
*Be the Victim*
Because you really are bad
You make me sick
Haha, ya get it, because in the body - and you like, you’ll kill the body
very funny

Excuse me, hello there
I’d like a little say here
I’m still a sugar
In just a different form

Interesting Facts,
  • Fructose is the sweetest sugar around / Found in many plants etc
  • Fructose is sweeter than sucrose ( Table sugar )
  • Sugar cane and sugar beets have highest concentration of sugar
  • Sugar cane beets can be eaten raw / Also known as pure sugar
  • As pancreatic cancer cells have been shown to use fructose for cell division, speeding up the growth and spread of the cancer
  • Lactase Enzymes
  • Enzymes: This collects fructose to burn off for energy, but when fructose goes through to the liver only a little bit goes to the rest of the body then in the liver we have an overload of fat if stored for too long the fructose turns into fat.

Math Reflection

Maths Reflection.

What types of questions did you find easy?
The questions that i found really easy was all the questions that included adding, subtraction, multiplacaitions and fractions. A the first and second questions was easy

What did you find hard?

The questions I found hard was all the questions that had to do with measuring and also the other that i found really hard was moving page to page and the questions were hard not all of them but some. Somthing else that i found hard was finding the stratagy and answers.

What do you think you need to improve on with your maths

With maths I think I need to improve on working faster and focusing because evry time one of my friends start talking to me i never get work finished because I get distracted.

Reflection about maths.

WALT : take a test on maths
  1.  What types of questions did you find easy?
What I found easy was the missing number. The missing number  was 100 - 34 = 66 It was tricky a bit but mostly easy because I showed how I could use it like for example I went 60 + 40 = 90 , 6 + 4 = 10, so 90 + 10 = 100 so that was the way of me doing my strategy. My other thing that i found easy was the part when you had to find what was 30 + 10 or something like that but it was easy.

2.  What types of questions did you find challenging?

What I found challenging was the question that said what was 2 1/2 ands that was the hardest challenging question I had to find out. The other thing I had to find out was trying to find out what was the fraction was when it was multiplying by 3. My 3rd thing that I found hard was the shapes of how to find out what was the opposite of the shape wich was really hard. My last thing that is hard for math's is  the times table it says 9x7= something.

3.  What do you think you need to improve on your maths ?

I think what I should improve on my times table so that when there is an test going on for example then I will know my questions for my answers. My second thing I need to work on is my fractions for my equations ready. The third thing I need to improve is an maths question to get focused and understand what to do next time. My last thing I need to improve on is asking for help when I'm stuck on something then  I just need to tell the teacher.
